i want to be delicious for the bear is a performative setting inspired by bodily experiences of darkness. the poem “anrufung des großen bären” by ingeborg bachmann unfolds in space. the dance is a preparation for the night, in which memories of an ice cave and conversations with the bear appear and perform for the dream. the project is part of an artistic research in collaboration with the unconscious on the potential of poetry for a physical, collective and fear-free experience of darkness.

i want to be delicious for the bear ist ein performatives setting, das von körperlichen erfahrungen von dunkelheit inspiriert ist. das gedicht “anrufung des großen bären” von ingeborg bachmann entfaltet sich im raum. der tanz ist eine vorbereitung auf die nacht, in der erinnerungen an eine eishöhle und gespräche mit der bärin auftauchen und für den traum performen. das projekt ist teil einer künstlerischen recherche in zusammenarbeit mit dem unbewussten zum potential von poesie für eine körperliche, kollektive und angstbefreite erfahrung von dunkelheit.
