DEUTSCH / Ein Schauer läuft über den Rücken. Die Finger kribbeln. Und schwitzen. Die Mundwinkel ziehen sich nach außen. Und nach unten. Die Nasenflügel öffnen sich. Wie die Augen. Die starren auf dieses eklige Etwas. Die Schultern drehen sich nach vorne. Wie zwei Panzer. Igitt. Sagt der ganze Körper.
Es gab angeblich einmal eine Prinzessin, die so wütend auf einen Frosch war, weil er so ekelhaft und aufdringlich war, dass sie ihn gegen eine Wand geknallt hat. Der Aufprall hat den Frosch verwandelt. Oder war’s die Prinzessin, die sich verwandelt hat? Weil sie einen Ausdruck für ihre Wut gefunden hat? Wo hat sie den gefunden? Und warum war der Frosch so grauslich? Und, ist Ekel außen und Ärger drinnen im Körper? Oder wo sind sie? Und wie kommt der Ärger wieder aus dem Körper hinaus, wenn er einmal drin ist?
Die Künstlerinnen zerlegen das Märchen vom Froschkönig in nichtlineare Erzählungen über Ekel und Wut. Sie suchen nach passenden Ausdrucksformen für innere Zustände in der Verwandlung.

ENGLISH / A shiver runs down your spine. Your fingers tingle. And sweat. The corners of your mouth turn outward. And downward. Your nostrils flare. So do your eyes. They stare at this disgusting thing. Your shoulders turn forward. Like two tanks. Yuck. Your whole body says.
There was supposedly once a princess who was so angry at a frog because it was so disgusting and intrusive that she slammed it against a wall. The impact transformed the frog. Or was it the princess who transformed? Because she found an outlet for her anger? Where did she find it? And why was the frog so gruesome? And is disgust outside and anger inside the body? Or where are they? And how does the anger come out of the body once it is inside?
The artists deconstruct the fairy tale of the Frog Prince into nonlinear narratives about disgust and anger. They search for suitable forms of expression for inner states in transformation.

DE / In einer Serie von Behandlungen kreieren Iris Dittler und Agnes Schneidewind Zeichnungen im Raum, Performances für die Nacht. Die poetisch-forschende und dialogische Praxis ist inspiriert von anatomischen Bildern und Erfahrungen, Träumen und Dunkelheit, dem kosmischen Körper, und dem Körper als Planet. Sie navigieren im Körperinneren, befragen Orientierungslosigkeit, und „behandeln“ sich gegenseitig, den Raum, das Gemeinsame, und das Nicht-Sichtbare.
EN / In a series of treatments, Iris Dittler and Agnes Schneidewind create drawings in space, performances for the night. The poetic research and dialogue-based practice is inspired by anatomical images and experiences, dreams and darkness, the cosmic body, and the body as planet. They navigate inside the body, question disorientation, and „treat“ each other, the space, the common, and the invisible.
